Healthy living for over 50s
AROUND 80 people attended a health fayre for the over 50s at Dalziel High School at the weekend.
Saturday's event was filled with a variety of stalls from organisations based throughout Motherwell and surrounding areas, with members offering a variety of information, help and advice.
Christine Johnston, one of the organisers from North Lanarkshire Council's community learning and development team, said: "The feedback was fantastic. One man said he was happy he came as he found out he had high blood pressure and cholesterol and was now looking for a cookery course."
