BELLSHILL band The Lonely Souls will play a gig at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut on Friday, February 5, as part of a year-long programme of shows to mark the famous Glasgow venue's 20th birthday.
The band, who will be appearing along with The Draymin from Dunfermline, are currently playing throughout Scotland to promote their new EP 'Deep Digger.'
They recently opened the No Mean City festival in Glasgow alongside Gary Moore and Joe Bonamassa and played the ABC and 02 in the city.
And they're hoping that their new album will help them take their brand of homegrown 'Americana' to a wider audience.
The Bellshill band are in good company in helping to celebrate King Tut's' 20th birthday with the Manic Street Preachers and the Undertones among the acts who will be appearing there.
Over the year the venue has hosted early gigs by some of the biggest bands in the world and achieved legendary status as the place where Oasis were spotted and signed.
Lonely Souls lead singer Paul Clinton said: "We are delighted to be playing at Tut's. We have played a lot of Glasgow venues but it's always a bit special to get a gig there. It should be a good night.
"It has come at a good time for the band as we have just released our new EP at Christmas and following it up with a gig at Tut's gives us a great start to the year."
